Love your pictures are not edited like the competition does to make their lights seem more appealing.   Young people cant afford to buy houses, let alone a $15,000 toy to put in them. I thought of a theme that would be fairly universally applicable for millennials and younger: "Existential dread: Late stage capitalism!" It's plays like the monopoly game, but all the spaces are already owned. It also lets you climb inside of it so you have somewhere to sleep.

  My advice, the best small game collection is one that has variance between them. Once game is flow, one game is stop and go and the third is primarily a title that allows for quick game play. Otherwise, look for a B/W title and break up the Stern monopoly you got going on.

  All, including the EM and SS models had strong flippers and were clean and leveled. All? They must have made some great improvements in the last month since I visited last. There were at least a half dozen pins with severe issues, including Monopoly with a severe perpetual tilt to one side (how does a tilt like that survive a relocation?) and a flipper with 110 degrees of sticky motion. Having said that, they are rapidly improving and I'm looking forward to see it continue. I try to go a few times a year.

  Went last weekend with fam. Let me just say they have improved dramatically in game and pin conditions. Amazing pin selection on 1st floor and still have the classics on third floor. New tech is doing great. Stern Mando, 007, and TMNT. All premiums! Addams with new pf and color dmd. Monopoly was a bit beat but played great. All, including the EM and SS models had strong flippers and were clean and leveled.

  All of my older Stern games are perfect. FG, Shrek, Sopranos are terrific. Even Monopoly, with the shitty, planking cabinets has a great playfield.

  Which machine would you drop for this one? My guess is monopoly but I don’t believe I have ever played it to truly know. Not sure I'd part with any of them.   My RCT launches to the lanes. And the diverter pops up. So it gets fed to A,B,C. Your shooter rod top looks off. is the washer or c clip on the back stopping it from going on all the way? Or are you missing spacers? [quoted image] I think the rod itself is too long?. I noticed the ball can not rest against the auto plunge. Monopoly has the same mech, and in that machine the tip of the shooter rod is quite a bit behind the autoplunge. But might missing spacers cause this issue as well? thanks

  I am wondering out loud if a failing display can work in one machine and not another? This display, while worked in the Austin Powers, did have some issues.. Would i waste time trying a different or new display in the monopoly?

  Sadly, right now he's the only source for a repro playfield. Not that it makes it any better, mind you. If Buthamburg made a CV playfield, I'd buy at least two. That’s why I keep my awful BSD playfield until I find a better OEM. I definitely rather play a clapped out playfield than buy Mirco, hence why my BSD literally looks like shit. It is sad though. He took monopoly on a niche yet sought after market with crap products. If only…

  First was PinBot. Other games I've owned twice are: Twilight Zone, Monopoly, Big Guns, Firepower, Firepower 2, F-14 Tomcat (4), Terminator 2, Black Hole, High Speed, BK2K, and Road Kings.

  White water can be a fun game when it is working and clean. Unfortunately, the one I got to play at the local bowling alley last year had many issues and was filthy dirty PF. I even called the business owner to either fix it or remove it. He swapped it out for an equally trashed Monopoly. The roller coaster left ramp was crazy fun. The 2nd level divertor was a great toy also.

  Not that common, but reasonably ‘modern’: 24, stern NBA, High roller casino. Kinda played one game on monopoly, but it had a broken sling rubber sitting in playfield…would like to try again.

  themes were basically 100% contemporary I'm not sure about that. I can't think of a time when there wasn't a diner pinball, a monopoly pinball, every generation of games has a touchpoint game for nostalgia. Think about baseball pinballs. Themed for a nostalgic connection.

  The 2n6057 I put in Pinbot came from Marco and has the right markings. Marco doesn't have a monopoly on non-counterfeit parts. They're subject to the market just like everyone else is.... someone just got remarked 2732's from them, and others have gotten bad parts as well.

  I got a monopoly in a packaged deal and the only thing that doesn’t work is the dmd display. I’ve replaced the power supply, and have proper voltage. I’ve replaced the ribbon cables. Everything on the display looks good. No burnt chips or cracked solder. Any other tests I can run? Or is it shot? When power is on, the red led does light up.
