TPB has *fantastic* writing and comprehensive character development for about a dozen characters. It's called "art" -- the theme on its own isn't what makes it great. The team of people that wrote, acted in, and supported the series made it great. They turned people who are struggling, into characters you really care about -- nearly all of them -- except for maybe... Cyrus -- he was a dick!

"trash" is the last thing on my mind when watching TPB. To me, it's like a modern-day Leave it to Beaver -- it's a warm family show with lots of feel-good moments.

I would have no interest in watching a reality TV show about real people struggling in a trailer park. I also have no interest in making a determined habit of categorizing any group of people as "trash" -- even in good fun.

I'm looking forward to seeing what market research has been completed to learn that an unlicensed theme of "Trailer trash" would be a winner in the pinball world. I'm happy to be wrong on my hunch that's not going to be a top-10 unlicensed theme idea, based on data.

I missed a week, would it be too much to ask for a recap of the last 300 posts?

You are doing god's work man with all the juicy stats.

Where do we place our guesses on project timelines or total consumption for the project? Did someone start a google sheets on this already?
Seems like we should put a deadline on all guesses real soon.

(don't know what page has the layout analysis)

I was wondering whether there was a way to drop a pop right behind the shooter-lane-area right flipper -- could a pop just fit in that space?

(and remove the little 3-post walled off triangle space)

One does not question -- a master meme generator with, "why?"...

    #5302 1 year ago

Wow thank you for the visual. What great service.

Not a bad idea to throw a half-moon ball guide around the top half of the pop -- no real need to spam a ball into a metal ball guide on right and above.

    #5305 1 year ago

I wonder what piece of the pop assembly the circle represents. The shooter lane ball just needs to clear the pop trigger plastic at the base.

I'm thinking more up and right would be possible given the guaranteed line of the shooter ball and minimal ball diameter

To allow for more balls to arch into the out lane naturally from lateral lower playfield motion

    #5307 1 year ago

Actually I rescind my suggestion to move it -- we do want the pop to intercept some lateral archs. But hey -- that's what a whitewood is for.

    #5322 1 year ago

John, rather than giving you *too many* new ideas on the current blueprint -- wondering which parts do you have the most concern/question about so perhaps we can comment on the places you are contemplating an adjustment or change.

Where would u possibly make a change?

wait a dog-gone second here. did u change your name to bacon?

    #5481 1 year ago

Excuse me -- but expiration dates are often just "suggestions"

Don't look in my fridge. I tend to throw things out whenever I move. That's my expiration date on some items -- move-out-date -- ESPECIALLY on some sauces.

    Quoted from TreyBo69:

    WEEK THREE BABY!

week 3 of what... 26? I didn't catch the "total weeks" proposed for the project. I know what my predictive multiplier will be once I hear the number. I just don't know where to etch the prognostication in stone.

    #5561 1 year ago

    27 week project? So 6 months + 1 week? (177/7) = 25, and we are starting week 3.

    is that accurate?

    #5629 1 year ago
    Quoted from Beechwood:

    Sept 1 to March 1

Got you -- so it's actually a 26 week project, where ~2 weeks are gone and ~24 are left.

What do we know about the "completion level" it will be after this 26 week phase? Has this been defined?

Can we at least narrow it down to some level of "completion"?

    1) everything works, and you can play through most of the code, but there will be a few code updates coming as final bugs are ironed out in coming months...

    2) magic girl = (looks like it should play, but it actually doesn't) ?

    3) almost nothing works !

Which level of completion is the 26-week goal? <=== ?
