Here is a solid example of a solid game. It’s fun to hit that center scoop at the top while nailing drop down targets. Flippers are nice and strong. Backglass is nice for its age.
Here’s what was done to do it before I got it:
All displays are Rottendogs
Power rectifier board is Rottendog
Rottendog SDB
Original CPU with a capacitor on the bottom
GI is LED
What I did to it:
Repinned the J1 and J3 connectors on the power rectifier board
Replaced the left flipper coil with manual-specified one
Reflowed sockets from the terminal directly to the base to establish a better connection (didn’t work, I think it needs an LED OCD board?)
Waxed playfield and cleaned connections
The cabinet has typical dudebros who thought craving their name in the game was a big statement (“It’s not even that great of a score, Josh!”) And the playfield has had some touchups which I’ll leave up to you. I think it looks fine, but I’m also putting on my “Would I look this good in my nearly 50s?”
Everything mechanically works well. The light show of the bonus count in the middle is the only thing to prevent it from being totally 100%.
I can deliver 100 miles from Fredericksburg for a fee. I’m open to trades for other pins, but no EMs unless they are on the edge of almost SS.
Thanks for looking!
