Have an estate sale find.
Mondaine railway pocket watch.
But not Swiss made?
Has Japan movement.
Is this worth anything?

No, but it’s pretty cool.

Is it quartz or mechanical? Either way, looks really cool.

I really like that model of the yachtmaster. Do you ever switch out the band for a rubber strap? I’ve wondered how it would look with that.

I’ve thought about it, but have not done it. I was really intrigued about having the center links brushed as I’ve seen some really good looking results, but I haven’t found a jeweler I trust to try it.

I really wanted to brush the center links on my GMT Master II but decided to just wear it for a while and do it once the center links got their inevitable swirls on the polished surfaces. And in the end, I just left it be - and ended up really enjoying the worn-in look.
Not exactly specifically a watch, but I got a 100 year old roll top desk to work on watches. Currenly on the bench is an old Longines movement with no case. So just something to practice on. Next up I have an old Gruen that's probably around the 40s-early 50s or a Hamilton-Illinois. I'm for sure going to get a H-I working to wear. I grew up in Illinois, and one of our neighboring towns was Hamilton, Illinois.

Love the "no feet" depth rating.
Is that the Spooky Watch??
Frequently, watch people are also keen on fragrances… so if you happen to be one of them, do take a moment to share a favorite or two before we get back on topic.
I ventured deep down the rabbit hole during the early covid years. Built an extensive spreadsheet of about 400 frags and these are a few of the ones which remain near the top of the heap:
Guerlain Vetiver
Tom Ford Grey Vetiver
Acqua di Parma Ginepro di Sardegna (sadly discontinued)
Creed Himalaya

I must be an exception to that rule!

Anyone remember Realm cologne. “Pheromones that attract women .” I used to love that shit oh and drakkar noir
