It's a fun part-time gig, get to watch some good up-and-coming prospects as well as some vets and even some rehab stints. I've been lucky to see PK Subban, Pekka Rinne, Jamie Benn, lots of those guys when they were younger, and of course all of the Blackhawks prospects. I do get to shoot a few Hawks games every year, which is always fun, too.
As far as my fave pics, I could pick a bunch, but I'll put a mix of few from this season below.
And as for Leivo, yes, I remember him playing for the Marlies a few years ago (maybe 15-16?) and more recently for the Wolves. I'm sure I have some shots of him when we played the Wolves and Marlies if you want me to dig some out.
First shot is Mendel from the Wolves. Took a huge uppercut as you can see by how his nose is misaligned. I have a netcam which I use every so often, and there's a resulting goal. Fourth is when they retired Corey Crawford's number from when he played with us.
