Hey Pinside,

So I’m opening this thread a few weeks earlier than I had originally planned, I posted up what was just a fun video tease and the super positive response across the Bond threads has been amazing.

Once again I have teamed up with swinks to make another one of my ridiculous ideas work in the real world and we’ve ended up with something truly unique and I believe possibly a first in pinball/mods, an interactive shooter rod.

Just incase you haven’t seen the video I dropped for fun the other day here it is:

The prototype shown in the video above is *not* the final production version, the production version will have a smoother finish to closer resemble the movie gear shifter.

Design Features:
• Realistic model of the DB5 gear shifter.
• Flip cap top, with hidden button reveal.
• Tactile red button that will start games & eject balls into play!
• Over 12 unique parts within the shooter, swinks is a design genius!
• Laser cut AM shooter plate.
• Hand painted shifter pattern and metallic effect trim.
• Transmitter/Shooter unit and receiver unit that requires no hardware removal to fit and mount.
• Super easy install, plug in and play… you do need to remove your factory shooter but that’s it no other nuts or bolts need to be touched.
*As code continues to develop, it will hopefully add more additional interactivity.*

With all the interest I’ve had so far, I will plan on producing batches of 30, no pre-payment required – I will only invoice you when your spot is ready.

Pricing is now set at £160. I have used the best parts possible, to ensure reliability and durability but please be away although this will function and act like a standard shooter, with a hinged designed their is a need for care to be taken, magnets have been an early part of the design in order to minimise the cap being left open leaving it susceptible to damage.

Thank you once again for all the interest so far across the Bond threads. This is a first for pinball “a wireless” shooter rod and it’s been great to see the love for this bonkers idea.

Hey DCfoodfreak thank you for the continued support. I will get everyone who posted in other threads in here by tomorrow and in the fairest order based on time posted. Todays just been one of those days at work, barn fire, horse rescues then an unfortunate house fire at a family home so it’s been non stop but I’ll catch up tomorrow and get everyone sorted.

There is alot packed in this package and designed so the battery can be replaced down the track.

I know you don't like 13 but there are 13 parts but include a allen key and you are at 14 parts

If we count the screws separately it’s at 15 with an Allen key haha, still ridiculous you managed to get this all to fit especially when I kept sending your sketches and drawings say “smaller, it needs to be smaller” and each time you managed to pull it off, really is an awesome design mate.

For my penance the lack of a spare millimetre inside does make putting these together incredibly fiddly but so worth it!
