Not completely insane but I think you'd have to get em down a bit to make it worth it. More interesting are the cupholders they screwed into the side of the cabinet, don't think I've seen that before. I don't even get the point when they're almost in the middle of the machine.

The shape is great. It’s the condition that isn’t .

Not uncommon on reimports in my experience.

I bought a re-imported CFTBL years ago and it had screw holes in the side of the cabinet. The seller had an IJ too, which also had screw holes in the side of the cabinet. Both were re-imports. What's up with the Europeans screwing cup holders onto a perfectly good cabinet? Yack.

I thought the screw holes in the side of most reimports were for licensing stuff, along with them usually etching something onto the backglass. Though I guess cupholders can make sense too.

    Also saw this one today,

Ok now this type of stuff is what needs to be singled out.

"Original paint is a good home (?) price firm and we'll get higher once I plug it in and get it working"

I'd say this guy is pretty high already.

    #8808 39 days ago

Saw another one, I guess someone is selling someone else's project since they're including a replacement playfield with it. No ball guides installed by the flippers though. Well, one ball guide that isn't even screwed in.

Still has a way to go on the price. I don’t understand how these idiots get these asking prices.

I blame TV "reality" shows, people believe what the idiot box tells them.

A friend of mine had 2 of his cars featured on a reality show.. and the only reality part was "2 cars were in a show"

Everything else was fabricated from whole cloth.

They see each others ads, and have no concept of the difference between insane asking price and actual sale price.

Both are from Southern California. Could be celebrity owned!

    #8821 34 days ago

Could be celebrity buyers with enough money they don’t care about how good a deal they aren’t getting.

Probably was told by wife to sell it/get rid of it. But has too much money tied up in it. "But Honey, look I put it up for sale and no one is interested in it."

Getting really hard to find because most have been hauled to the dump (where they belong).

I can’t get over the cheese factor. Waaaaaay back in the day my friends and I would play TZ at a local bowling alley. Hours per night. Eventually we put so many miles on TZ and they replaced it with a Baywatch. We never went back again. Not kidding.
