Yea this has to be 20+ songs. My original list is missing two songs that are must haves:
Name of the Game
Thank you for the music

This game unfortunately is all going to come down to-'Is it a good layout' machine. We all know the music is there and ABBA is great. Can the music carry this game? We all saw what they did with Queen-ruined a great opportunity. If Stern was doing it-I would have a little faith. Don't mean to be pessimistic but not holding my breath on this one.
Quoted from pinmister:Don't mean to be pessimistic
Had a vision in bed last night(weird how I think about pinball in bed?) that ABBA could be a stellar single level game?
My wife's favorite table on our virtual is ABBA Beatles retheme. Now Beatles is a great table that is also a re-theme. So a retheme of a retheme

If this was the layout, even being so simple, it would be a day 1 purchase for me.
For those who wanted a disco ball https://www.knapparcade.org/post/pinball-brothers-shares-short-teaser-video-promoting-upcoming-third-game
"Revive the thrill" sounds like some lost in translation, English as a second language kinda thing, so it all fits.
My hope is they learned from Queen and maybe also made some changes based on Elton John. Theme and music will be a 10.
Quoted from Shapeshifter:I hope they do ABBA justice.
Very curious about this game![quoted image]
Looks like their count-down timer is saying April 6th at 10:30am Pacific Timezone release... 10 days, 16 hours, 59 minutes (From March 26th at 5:31PM Pacific Timezone)
Quoted from Markharris2000:Looks like their count-down timer is saying April 5th release... 10 days, 16 hours, 59 minutes (From March 26th at 5:31PM Pacific Timezone)

Was really hoping for a 4/1 announcement. Then they could troll everyone and say it’s not ABBA, only to drop ABBA game flyer and pics.
I, for one, am excited to see pinball finally exit the Dad Rock era and enter the Mom Pop era.
Celine Dion pin is next up (JJP).
Quoted from ZombiePartie:ABBA is unique in that they are also Dad Pop.
Mom Pop already incorporates the two sexes.

Maybe at MGC then?
Quoted from benheck:Well, as long as ABBA eats the ball, we should be ok.
Please stop. That joke died a while ago in the Jaws thread.
Surely an 'On and On and On' multiball somewhere ....
and a final Wizard mode that gets you to the Abbatars at Voyage
Quoted from BallyKISS1978:Please stop. That joke died a while ago in the Jaws thread.
Geez, who called the fun police?

pg-36-screenwriting-rex (resized).jpgI see ABBA are re-releasing Waterloo - their first album on 6th April - Half Speed vinyl.
Just hope the game is more than a musical jukebox.
Quoted from hepworthjd:It was posted after midday local time FWIW
Is that reference to April fools being only until noon in UK or Europe?
Quoted from o-din:I remember when Waterloo first came on the radio. About the same time as Rock and Roll Hoochie Koo.
So yeah, I'm going to pass and wait for a Derringer pinball machine instead.

come on disco-din. open your mind and your pocket book.
Quoted from Molon_Labe:Its the Swedish fish trifecta - ABBA, Roxette, and Ace of Base
[quoted image]
I'd be down for an Ace of Bass pin
Quoted from Haymaker:I'd be down for an Ace of Bass pin
I applaud your thick skin and honesty. Ace of Base was one of those bands that the majority of the general public owed the CD or cassette, but no one admitted to it publicly.
Quoted from BallyKISS1978:I hope the back glass is an April fools joke at least. That looks horrible.
This pic is from official Voyage stuff - much better.
Let's hope they get the artwork right on this game.

Their cover of Cannibal Corpse's "Stripped, Raped, and Strangled" is pretty lit.
Abba Voyage currently has 20 songs in its setlist

By the look of that backglass i doubt it. Only good art They've done imo is the Alien LV. They seriously need to hire a good artist, and also get rid of that hideous backbox solution where the backglass cover the whole front side. I didn't always have this opinion but I believe Stern has the best looking backbox right now.
I’m in for the CE and I don’t have to see it first. I’ve seen all the documentaries, know all the songs and with at least a couple hundred million records sold it’s pretty much impossible to deny their 50 year world presence so why not. At least it’ll be a great jukebox.

My wife is this exact way. She took me to see the broadway show recently and now I’m hooked on ABBA. I’m also happy to support a smaller company.

I was too young to care back then, and I'm too old to care now
