Dummy Button Replacement -- James Bond 007 Shop highlight
Stern game cabinets still come with a pre-drilled hole for a tournament button. Since almost no one actually utilizes this, Stern fills the hole with an ugly black dummy button. On some games, this black circle really clashes against the cabinet artwork. Rocket City Pinball is now offering custom color dummy buttons to help blend in with the colors on the cabinet, to make them more subtle and disappear.
For Bond Pro, this 3D printed dummy button is printed in yellow, and for Prem & LE, it's printed in cyan, to blend in better with the surrounding area to be less noticeable. The dummy button is threaded and includes a similarly-threaded nut (whose color may vary, but doesn't matter because it's inside the cabinet).
Installation is easy -- simply loosen the nut inside the cabinet (you might need pliers/channel locks to break it loose because they tend to torque it down ridiculously tight), then remove the black dummy button ... and install the new one in its place with the included nut!
