It will be IJ5 by JJP in 2024. Lol
The first version of Stern Star Wars, pro especially... they fixed it with the comic version
Also a design snafu because they made the game way too hard for any casual player to enjoy and its a license that appeals to a wide range.
Game is a total bitch (I like it though)
Sorry, skipped right to comment after reading thread title. Stern WWE would be my pick, but not on the poll.
Quoted from KingVidiot:Have you spent any quality time with it? Ramps and upper playfields are great and all, but Beatles is the best single-level design of all time. It’s just such a fun game to play. Hugely underrated and dismissed because of its simplicity.
Beatles is a cool theme but TNA is the best single level game around IMO
Any attempt to make a game from a hugely popular license is going to disappoint... expectations are way beyond ridiculous.
You've all got this perfect BTTF game already in your head... what you get will be a sad disappointment.
They [pinball companies] know they can't win, so they don't give a fuck. All they care about is producing a fun product that they're immensely proud off.
They'll give a fuck when sales dry up... which ain't happening.
Be gone all you negative Nancy's.

No doubt there. Once again a huge chunk of people were literally expecting a working claw machine in side this game.
I mean seriously.
I know its an older one but Doctor Who could have been such a better game. So many great story arcs, monsters and alien villians but the game almost soley focuses on the annoying as daleks which imo are some of the weaker stories of the longest running serial in history.

This exactly sums up the 'problem'
Not only does everyone have their own ideas of what should be integrated into any themed machine - everyone will have different ideas, so the manufacturers have no chance of winning whatsoever.
There will be the same uproar with the next machine, the uproar being proportional to the popularity of the theme.
Just take a hypothetical James Bond for example, there will be people complaining that it doesn't have a car which converts to a submarine, or a bowler hat that decapitates a statue, or an invisible car, or George Lazenby, etc. etc. etc.
Then there will be the usual comments of why not make an original themed machine, followed by the fact that people don't engage or buy that theme.
Personally, I focus on the gameplay and rules, I enjoy IMdn as much as GZ, or DP, or PotC.
