Hello all, i have a Williams Taxi Marilyn pinball in pretty bad shape!

So:

I am looking for a scan or a very good HD picture of the playfield.
It can also be a Lola i will take what i need on it.

a used playfield decent!

A CPR playfield that is taking dust in your closet!

let me know if you can help me
Thanks

Have you considered those new Hard Tops they have? So far, they look *really* sharp (much nicer than decals). Both a Lola and Marilyn version is available:

I think I'm doing the Hard-Top overlay. CPR is not going to rerun Taxi, I asked Peter and didn't hear back. So this may well be the best alternative.

I LOVE the hardtop overlay option. If my Taxi wasn't so borderline, I'd be doing it, but it's one of the few that I've seen that don't have the yellowing on the non-Mylar areas, and my only real wear is around the bumpers so I'd hate to sand down an original PF when it's really not THAT bad to begin with.

That being said, i agree with the others. If you are going to strip down topside to do a full PF decal, why not do the hardtop for an extra $100 or so over a decal? Either way it's going to be the same amount of prep, so you might as well go with the better looking and performing option.

Yes, do the Hardtop overlay option. You could not be happier.

^^That Taxi looks great! I wonder if many more titles are planned for Hardtop overlays.

I was going to bite the bullet and order one, but got the message "This store does not ship to the provided address." on the checkout page. I guess you don't ship to Canada? Is there a way to get one in Canada?

#8 6 years ago

Hard top does a nice job I am impress! Send an email to try to get them to ship to Canada still waiting for an answer! has for now I wanted to patch with decal and clearcoate. But this seams a better option!
Thanks!!!

All... We DO ship internationally. We just need to do it manually. You can email us through the site with your address and we can get that shipping cost and add it to the product cost and send you a paypal invoice manually. Sorry it's a pain, but our current site platform does not have a good way to calculate shipping costs outside the US.

Awesome!!! Are these going to be a limited run? Or is this something i can buy a year or two down the road if i decided i wanna make my taxi look like new?

Did you clear coat the PF or just sand it down? Do you have any pictures of teh start to finish progress on yoru Taxi?

#12 6 years ago

I assume these are somewhat flexible, do they ship flat or in a tube?

Sanded the playfield down with 120 grit then followed with 220. Polished up the inserts with 1500, 2000, then 2500 grit. No clear coat was used. I cleaned up the shooter Lane by sanding out the dirt and then used wipe on poly to seal it. It was rather easy, I just took my time.

Flexible, they ship flat. They ship them lightning fast too. I got mine within a few days after I ordered it.

Which vendor?

Would also like to know which vendor.

#23 6 years ago

I assumed that leonml was talking about a complete reproduction playfield, not the hardtop.
