All machines this age are of course dealing with WPC reset issues, but lately every single Indiana Jones and most every machine from that age is suffering from a LOT of 100uf 35v capacitors failing on the opto boards, the motor driver boards, the expander boards, etc...

And Whitewater just needs periodic maintenance.

No big deal, for an experienced pinball technician, but I'm in Charlotte, and it's a bit of a drive to Durham. (2 1/2 hours).

Thanks so much for these replies, folks. Very greatly appreciated. Yes, these are mainly reset issues, although right now IJ fails to boot entirely. Really appreciate connecting with folks back here in NC. Sorry I missed the auction the other day. I would have gone had I realized it was happening. I have the next few dates on my calendar.

Looking to have a higher end pin shipped from near Charleston SC to Denver CO. Typically, I use STI, but reluctant in this case because seller is uncomfortable prepping machine for shipment. Hoping to find smaller, ‘hands on’ outfit for this one.

Any recommendations or experience with transport folks in your region greatly appreciated. TIA!
