There's a Jaws on location near me and I got to the video mode and discovered you can play in 3d. Anyone know what kind of 3d glasses are required? I'd like to find some and give it a try. Do you need the oldb school red and blue? Or the new kind that modern 3d movies use?

They are red and blue.

Though, if you get red and blue glasses that don't have the Stern logo on them people will point at you and laugh, you'll be socially undesirable, your friends will abandon you to a lonely life.

Yeah the red-blue Anaglyph ones you need. I like the old school white cardboard frames myself. I got a pair of the Stern one but forgot them in my back pocket and they didn't survive the wash

there are sportier models available like these:https://www.amazon.com/dp/B096VKWM52/ref=sspa_dk_detail_0

the video mode start gives you ample time to put them on & upon completion gives you ample time to set them aside

I hate when that happens.

Meh. Sounds like days that end in "y" anyways.

Thanks for the info all!

Serious question. What does the screen look like sans the geeky glasses? Are the images all blurry and s**t? Can you turn 3D off in the settings?

You select if you want 3d or 2d

Spoiler, the 3d is worthless. You're not missing anything with 2d

By default the video mode start is in 2-d , you can select or deselect the 3-d start with the flipper buttons.

I suppose it's possible to have the glasses on inside out. the Blue is supposed to be on the RIGHT eye & Red on the LEFT eye.

If the glasses are not worn; what is being missed is showing others watching you how cool you are for reaching the video mode !
