Quoted from jsyjay:I have (rather stupidly) signed up for the Mallorca 312 in April this year.
312km (194 miles)
5,050m (16,570ft)
The cut off time is 14hrs and I will probably need every minute of it!
Luckily at that time of year it shouldn't be too hot but the lack of fair weather training at home might hinder me a bit...[quoted image][quoted image]
My favourite place to ride! That is going to be a brute, Andratx to Alcudia along the coast is enough for one day! Oh, and my Cervelo R5 with good old fashioned rim brakes!

Wow, a field of 8,000 sold out in 10 hours. Please share pics and description here when you return. Enjoy!..or at least finish.

Will do!
Quoted from balt:I've been using this '15 Cannondale Quick CX as my gravel bike. Dale went on a diet this winter and lost four pounds of hardware but is still a beefy 30 pounds. That front fork is 5.5 lbs. So I'm in the market for a real gravel bike this spring.

This is my Cannondale Topstone, pictured last October in the Vegas desert.
Love this bike on gravel & road, but had to bling it up with some purple bits from Paul and White Industries. Leopard print frame bag courtesy of Outer Shell.

1983 Mongoose Expert all original minus new seat, seat post, new tuffs, new chain
Just grabbed it off CL last fall, super fun ride. Had been missing having one for 40+ years.
Best purchase of an object in forever. Feels so good to look at it, ride it, polish it... talk about trouble free.

This bike is soooo sweet and to have the mags on there too! My dream bike as a kid was a PK Ripper. Never was able to afford one. Then later in life i owned a bike shop and could have whatever bike i wanted. Still never got one. Although I had a pretty sweet DK cruiser with landing gear front fork. Man! BMX is so fun to ride.
Im tempted to buy one of the newer 26" wheel PK Rippers. We shall see. I was told i cant ride a bike for 12 months by my doctor.
Quoted from bicyclenut:[quoted image]Here is my current ride. I ruptured my Achilles in a mountain bike crash where i had landed on my foot pushing my foot into my shin[quoted image]
Wow, rear suspension on that thing, very nice! Hope you feel better soon. Mine was bothering me after chopping too much wood. After 9 straight days of skiing it felt perfect. Guess the ski boot kinda acted like a cast.
Quoted from gliebig:huffy
huffy was a common starter point. I couldn't get any air with mine back when they were just too heavy.
Big cyclist here! I race in a lot of triathlons and Ironman races, so I have a fun TT bike for that. It's amazing how fast these things can go. I've been up to 50mph on some solid downhills while in aero.

I have a road bike for more casual rides. I've taken her for a few century rides to the shore:

I'd expect no less in Leadville. Enjoy!
I too am a big fan of the coaster brake.

Kick back hubs are amazing for city riding. Sturmy Archer has a decent option as well in aluminum with coaster brake or disk.

Wow, a niche within a niche!
Gotta give you props for that Balt. lol
I’ve found that after all my years of cycling, I’m kind-a better off leaving ALL electronic technology at home and simply just be ONE with the bike.
External cables and rim brakes still work just fine too.

Black Friday deal, I couldnt pass it up
Hopefully the weather dries up a bit so I can put some miles on it tomorrow. A little more warmth would be nice as well. I have very little cold weather gear at the moment but I will risk it...for a little while
Also my CCrLE is still in the box since May!
CheckpointSL5 (resized).jpgQuoted from MrCleanHead:Black Friday deal, I couldnt pass it up
Oh Hell YEAH! Nice ride. Enjoy
Are e-bikes kosher in here? I picked this up new last April after my Chinese e-bike got a flat on my way to work and decided I needed a big-boy rider.
Have nothing bad to say about it. Rides like a dream. Highly recommended.
I commute 7 miles round-trip to work on it every day from March to December.
There are some really crazy looking road and mountain bikes in here. The wife and I have cheap GT mountain bikes for just cruising the trails around here. Here is my main rider, Quamen Delta 3. The bars are designed and made by me. I have a ton of hours on them and so far they’ve held up. I just built that front wheel a couple months ago. There is a certain satisfaction to building your own wheels. It took a bit to true but that how i’ve always done it.

Awesome! Make sure to post in the BMX thread as well. Not as big as this one though.

First rule of fight club, never sell a G-G
IMG_4286 (resized).jpegAny Tall Bike Posse members out there?
The first one is a small tall I got from one of the og tall bike dudes.
The other I built for parades and such. It's the ceremonial bread delivery bike.
I'm bringing the small tall to GSPF for rolling in the campground.
