Have you gone into switch test mode and tested the shooter lane switch as well as the trigger switch? Make sure something isn't stuck.

If the game thinks the ball is resting in the shooter lane because the switch is malfunctioning, it'll keep trying to kick it.
Sometimes this is the activating wire of the switch that needs to be bent so that it isn't 'stuck down'. It's not uncommon to need a new switch.
Let us know what you find.

Gone through the switch test nothing wrong there problem started with launcher not going back in and staying energized, no corrosion on the board behind, I was thinking issue with thermistor or waste gate resistor but they seem to test good.

Launcher not going back in has a 'magnetized bell armature' problem that is common, but the plunger breaks it's magnetic lock and drops back with a little vibration.
However you are saying the launcher 'stays energized'? Like, buzzing coil, can barely push the plunger back with your finger type energized? This will burn up your coil, and the transistor driving your coil pretty quickly.
Can you confirm your problem? If the launcher kicks when no ball is there, you have one problem. If you have a plunger that kicks and stays energized for longer than a standard ball launch kick, that's a different problem. If you have a plunger that occasionally seems to 'stick' in the launched position until it 'breaks free' and retracts, that's a third problem.
