Hello fellow pinheads ! Wanted to share an interesting thing about a Last Action Hero I acquired. So right away I noticed that it had a three coin slot door . But it did not have 25c slots and instead had DM . Which I found out was the German Deutschmark. Thats pretty cool ! So I’m thinking this machine was in Germany at one time and somehow ended up back in the US . It gets better . When I started getting under the hood of this game I realized the game was actually manufactured for France. And it even had the European style service plug retrofitted in the game still . So best I can tell this game was manufactured in the US. Then shipped to France . Then ended up in Germany . Only to wind up back in the US. I live in Massachusetts and I actually picked up this game from a fellow Pinsider in Florida . And who knows if it made pit stops in other countries as well ? I’m sharing this with everyone because I think it’s super cool the game has traveled all that way . And thought maybe other people have had similar experiences and might want to share the stories of their pins . Thanks for reading my post !

I have always wondered how many miles a pinball machine has traveled or the true money intake through its routing.

Good game you have, fun playing with a descent amount of things to do.

i always enjoy these hints and clues to the history of machines. i have several reimports, including a Stern Grand Prix that spent time in Italy (still has the Italian spoken language ROMs,) a World Cup that lived much of it's life in Germany, and a European 3-slot Hook that a fellow operator bought out of a warehouse somewhere on the Oregon coast. i also have a Zaccaria Magic Castle with a Dutch operator tag from a few miles from where my mom grew in the Netherlands in the 50's & 60's; i looked up the address once on Google Maps and it's basically a big garage behind a house.
