For sale are TWO 1978 Valley Spectra IV rotating playfield pinball machines. These are pretty cool (even though the gameplay is VERY basic) because the entire playfield rotates inside the cabinet, under the glass. This allows up to four players to sit at static locations to play!
One boots and plays but seems to be stuck in an endless loop and never hits game over. May need RAM cleared or something else, but it technically "works".
The other turns on and allowed me to get into what appears to be a test mode...but it's now stuck. So i guess that means it's booting (ish) also? I assume its not a TOTAL lost cause. Missing shooter rod but appears otherwise complete. I've not investigated any further as I don't have the key to remove the glass or the control panel. Both can obviously be drilled out.
These are BIG and HEAVY and quite honestly would probably be better served to just live their lives as big, non-functional coffee tables that just so happen to have cool pinball art on them..but maybe you can fix one/both! Price is for both machines.
