Williams Contact - 1978 early solid state widebody pinball.
Machine works 100% - went through near total teardown in Summer 2019.
Work done includes:
- All mechs and boards from inside cabinet completely removed and cleaned, including coin door.
- Legs run through evaporust bath and cleaned.
- Complete topside playfield teardown, cleaned and reassembled. All bulbs replaced, new titan rubbers installed.
- Bottom side of playfield - all mechs (Drops, kickers, flippers etc) disassembled and cleaned.
- MPU and driver boards replaced by Rottendog combo board.
- Original sound and power boards were re-capped in March 2020.
- Power cord replaced.
- Fuses added to bridge rectifiers.
About the only thing not done to the machine that it could possible use is repining all the connectors.
Cosmetically solid - but does have some scrapes here and there on cabinet. Playfield clean, with some wear near outholes and sling/kickers.
Inserts are a bit sunken/cupped
Backglass has some flaking and one scratch but has been triple thicked to prevent further issues and LEDs currently installed in the backbox to prevent further flaking.
