Noteworthy features

  • "Flip-O-Meter" display in center of playfield measures speed of ball around the upper "Vectorscan" ramp and loop which earns points and awards specials when fastest flip-to-date is beaten.

Trivia

  • Designer Greg Kmiec confirmed that his original designs placed a small 2-inch mini-flipper on the upper-playfield opposite the X-Y-Z drop-targets even though the 1981 Bally Parts Manual lists it as the same as the main 3-inch flippers. Many examples of Vector are therefore regularly fitted with the wrong flipper!

Backbox ornament(s)

From the flyer: "Vector's exciting graphic package includes a multi-plane back-glass with infinity lighting that brings the Vectordome's field to life."

Video mode

This machine has no dot matrix or video display, so it has no videmode.
