This is a fun pinball. If youre a fan of stargate you'll enjoy this one. there are a few hard shots, a few that you def need some juice on the ball to get it going. Not a huge fan of the third flipper pins but regardless this one is fun. Well designed with good clean flow. great game

Stargate is a great pin, among the less than stellar efforts by Gottlieb during its DMD Premier era. The playfield may seem grossly overcrowded at first. Once you study the layout, you will understand that this makes for a lot of varied shots to increase replayability. The rules/theming work with the crazy playfield while offering interesting choices like mining for quartz, and deciding to keep mining or cash out. The pyramid/glider toy is very cool, while the showstopping cabinet-head mirror needs to be seen in person. Some original DMD animation is a welcome sight (opposed to pixelated images like Freddy pinball). The music is barely passeable for this era, while artwork is good. Stargate may not be the greatest, but for pins in it's price range, its actually quite good. Fun game to play on location or at a pin show, if you aren't willing to buy one.

What a great game. Lots of depth and a lot to shoot for. I set my game on very hard and that makes it even better. The lightshow and the backglass are amazing! Fantastic game grab one if you can. This one doesn't do under for popular B&W games.

Stargate is a great pin. It's not for everyone, but if you can get past the crowded playfield, there is a lot of fun to be had. It's also a beautiful machine to behold, and features great artwork all around. IMHO, it's easily the best DMD machine Gottlieb ever made.

This thing surprised me. Challenging and deep. Takes a while to figure out but once you do, you can really score...if you can control that ball and aim, of course. Translation...not for the wife.
OH! Did I just SAY that?! lol, I'm sticking to it tho.

Stargate is surprising fun to play. Cool ball locks, steep ramps, lighted backbox and add-a-balls during multiball.

A nice looking game made from the rather successful early nineties sci-fi movie. It plays quite alright, but scoring logic is far to be found. The toys and playfield are gorgeous, the backglass amazing with its mirror and surrounding lights. So for its looks, I think it's a great machine, but when it comes to playing... Ah well, look further I'd say.
