Looking at this game the only thing that comes to my mind is how beautiful this game is. I am not a Star Trek fan but if you are, this game is a dream. One of Steve Ritchie's best games and back when Stern was proud of putting as much as they could in their games. The side armor, backbox, everything is just beautiful. Code is great flow is great. What else can you ask for?

This is hands down the best Stern LE that has ever been produced. I cannot believe all of the thing Stern packed into this LE, it makes all the current LE lack lustered. The lit side armor, lit head box and phaser interior blades is just absolutely gorgeous.
ST is one of the flowiest games that I've ever played. Has many satisfying shots. Warp ramp is fast, repeatable and awesome.
I enjoy the dots on this game and love the simplicity of the rules. It's a breath of fresh air that anyone can walk up too and play. It has easily become one of my all-time favorite games in my collection.

My only cons is the artwork is a little lacking, but still think it was good for the times. There isn't any particular tough shots in the game I'd say there is a bunch of easy to medium shots, but none overly difficult. This makes it a bit of a long-playing game.

Star Trek is a very good game.

The layout has similarities to Spider-Man but with even more emphasis on flow. All of the shots are very satisfying to make and they feel perfectly balanced out. The shot to the VUK on the left and the sideramp are my favourites. The noteworthy additions on this version are the red LED lights that go into action during Klingon Multiball, the Vengeance's down position and the VUK. But in terms of gameplay I don't think these features make that much of a difference.

For me this game is relatively easy to play since I am quite good at playing Spider-Man.

I like the rules, playing the modes is a lot of fun. My favorite mode is Save the Enterprise. The Vengeance and Klingon multiballs are very enjoyable as well and collecting the victory laps is a nice feature.

The artwork is quite good on the backglass, cabinet and the animations. The playfield is average since it looks a bit too basic for me.

I am not a Trekkie or a particular fan of a Star Trek movie but I think this game has been themed brilliantly. This game has led to my sort of liking the Star Trek genre.

Overall Star Trek is a very good game with a big emphasis on flow. It will probably appeal to every player that can at least live with the Star Trek theming. It is a game that even a beginner will be able to enjoy.

I think the is Steve's best game and I will probably own one eventually - right now I play on location. Fantastic game, great flow, great lighting effects and anything Star Trek always pulls me in.

This is one of my all time favorite games and I think Steve's best game to date. I love how it shoot and the rules are easy to understand. This game will always be in my collection. Literally everything about this game is what I want in a pinball machine. This game is so loaded compared to the new LE pins Stern puts out.

The best side flipper shot in pinball. The LE has so much stuff in it. It's the gold standard for what an LE should be. Love the sound effects and simple but challenging rules.

Phenomenal game, the only LE I'd say is really worth it.

Played at The Pinball Office on 29th April 2023.

What a beautiful pin! Lovely sounds, beautifully illuminated, and an absolute dream to play. I’ve always enjoyed playing Stern Star Trek due to its fast, simple-to-learn-hard-to-master gameplay, and this was a truly exceptional example. Not sure whether the ‘disco ball lighting’ on the Klingon mode was original, or a later addition, but ‘disco Klingons’ were a wonder too.

Star Trek is the total package, a masterpiece! The LE is loaded to the max, plays intense and lightning fast, has TONS of modes with unique DMD animations, killer music, light shows and callouts...the rotating playfield laser is an incredible effect! Game is very difficult and challenging and will NOT get repetitive or boring in a home environment. The movie soundtrack code takes it to another level. This game keeps me coming back for more, I'll never sell my STLE!

Stars and flags everywhere oh my.

Own the pro, play the LE quite a bit at friend’s house.

LE is a beautiful machine no doubt. Have always liked this machine in league play. I have reached KM many times as an above average player. Lots of rinse and repeat after that.

Great shooter with flow and a game I recommend to new pinball players.

Call outs and sound effects are top notch.

Points off for lastability.

Is this a top 10 machine? Not in my opinion, but I also have tired of MM, MB, AFM, and most 90s games.

So please Flag and Star and enjoy pinball!

It is an average machine at best with many modes but lacks shot variety. If you like more of a shooter pin stay away from this one. Theme is terrible. Ship sounds are extremely annoying. Art package is average. Got uninterested in this one super quick and moved on to other machines in my local club lineup. Seems the owners of this machine have chatted on the forums to pump up this machines rating artificially. Unfortunately this is skewing Pinside ratings.

The most beautiful pinball that I have ever seen - the lightshow, the artwork and the toys are just amazing. Fantastic gameplay that keeps me coming back for more. Everyone who visits me loves my Godzilla premium but says that Star Trek LE is the best pinball machine that I have.

The added light show is quite nice and it is a beautiful looking LE. Gameplay is smooth and shoots well but gets repetitive when you pass the first wizard mode.

The side rails are cool and the lighting effects are awesome but the le price tag isn’t worth the difference over the prem.

I really like Stern Star Trek. It is a fantastic machine with plenty to do for even the most seasoned player. You have the triangle of modes to complete, and each time you complete them all you get to a mini wizard mode, or the final wizard mode at the end. The playfield layout on this game is excellent, and it is a flowy sexy beast. I really like the warp ramp that sort of goes behind the backboard. The Backglass on this version is great (no crew headshots) and the side art is good. The lit side rails on the LE are absolutely the best factory side rails on any factory standard pinball machine, and the lighting effect is really neat. The laser light show is a little underwhelming, and the only funcitonal difference on this between the pro and LE is the kickback and the vuk on the left dead end. The theme integration is excellent on this one, but the playfield art is... pretty much non-existent. I really like this pin and after having owned a pro and played an LE on location, hope to rotate an LE into my collection as permanent edition some day.
