I played it at Bologna Pinball Museum (now closed :( ) and I think this is the best Zaccaria pinball machine I've played! Really balanced game and love the timed miniplayfield feature, unlike Farfalla and devil riders, where you stay there like forever, you have a time limit of 5, 10, 20 or 30 seconds based on how much you have cumulated which after this upper flippers get disabled. Everything is done well on this machine, and I am proud to be born on the city where Zaccaria existed

Love this machine, sits next to my Addams and ACDC and still go for this one when i feel like a quick game, great sound and Artwork is amazing with brillant pinks, purple and orange, not a bad game plan once you work it out with timed upper field that works well, parts getting harder to find.I RATE THIS GAME HIGHLY

"What a low score, try harder."

There is a reason this game was made TWICE by Zaccaria.
It is a solid, fast playing game.
The ruleset is a little confusing for new players, but spend a little more time to enjoy the discovery.
Excellent art package all around.
Sound for the period was excellent including its taunting voice challenges.
The sound reminds me of a cross from Bally Vector and Eight Ball Deluxe.
Many people are missing out on pinball if they have never had the chance to play games from this Italian manufacturer.
They offered an incredible selection of 47 unique titles to choose from overall.
Although more difficult to obtain in the United States and generally low production, many were colorful, and had excellent replayability comparable to most Bally titles of the same age.

So surprising I could not find the love that game. Played Lorenz' game, loved it, found another one for sale and ... the magic was gone.

Layout is fine, and you can find the Zaccaria touch is many details. Artwork is below part as compared to other Zaccs, but stil tolerable.

Pinball Champ is another great looking and playing table from Zaccaria.

The Pros:
There are fantastic shot selections all over this game. An upper PF that plays quite well. The art package on this deck is awesome all over. From the bikini babes on the BG to the detailed pink cab to the red hot-PF. This game looks awesome all over! The shot to the upper PF is tight and almost all the way up the PF. The spinner takes a nice left hand turn into the pops and the top lane through the pops goes around and down back to the left flipper. The upper PF is timed and keeping it up there until the timer runs out is not an easy thing to do either.

The Cons:
Unbalancing bonus X scoring seems to be a common theme with this company's rulesets. 50x bonus? Really? Parts, who has them? Do you have a machine shop to reproduce the parts that you break? I mean... it's pinball. Parts are going to wear and break. Right?

The Takeaway:
A really good game from the land of Baloney. Find one if you can and enjoy!

Perhaps the city of Bologna is by the way the italian's twin of Chicago. The 3 brothers Zaccaria have produced there amazing pinballs in lates 70's and in the 80's. Pinball champ'82 is the first 2nd generation's one. A real two levels game, with an upper transparent playfield, not a splitted one as Black Knight for example. The artwork is strongly colored and the backglass got a certain "Dave Christensen's touch".The gameplay is fast and furious and rules really exciting! A huge success exported worldwide by this italian firm. A second version of the game was made in 83, with a new design for the playfield. Hope U've got the chance one day to try it .... I love this machine ......
