So smokedog is doing all my harness so the show will go on. In trade I'm doing his tz cabinet decals. He had all the hard ware off. So got the old decals off in 1hr 15mins with a heat gun and a scraper to start it. Then 2 hrs sanding off the glue. It's in nice shape so not much bondo will be needed.

Nice !

#103 7 years ago

That is so cool! I don't think I'd have the patience for that. It really makes me want a whirlwind though!

Got about 5hrs on the tz cabinet yesterday. She's looking good. And my buddy is digging in deep again. He must see the silver ball at the end of the tunnel again.

That cracking in the compass inserts looks horrible. Mine has the same thing. I hope mine isn't that bad.

#110 7 years ago

Looking swanky !

Quoted from freezie:

all the people bad mouthing about the price. come live here for a while and see what you can find .

Was it $1000 Canadian or USD? Big difference if you bought it when the dollars was $1.45 or $1.15

So $1000 Canadian is probably pretty reasonable considering. I live in Toronto area and I check kijiji and craig's often. There are very little deals popping up and I live in a major urban area with lots of people into pinball and deals are far and few between. Especially for classic titles.

WW finished off mint in this area would sell for probably $5000. I just played on one in this guy's collection at a league night last week. IT was pristine. I'm sure he wouldn't even consider selling it for $5000 or less.

Good buy, keep it up. not sure why others care if you spent a G or not. You've paid to play (learn pin resto/repair).

I'm not sure of the brand, they were bought second hand.

Great work! Can't wait to get started on the rest of the pin.

I guess I'd better get those harnesses done now ...

#126 7 years ago

Is that TZ cab clear coated? Looks really nice.

No clear coat just good thick decals.

Well we delivered the cabinet back to Jason this morning, He seemed really impressed and I hope he really is. Also got to check out what was going on in his shop and the wireing harness. While we were in the city we grabbed one more can of paint For the head. We will be done today then it's back to the ww project
