Totally agree with the definition of "shopped". For some it's a set of new rubbers. For me, it's a full bore job, from cleaning & leveling plastics to cleaning the bottom of inserts. Not to mention rebuilding flippers and every assembly that needs attention.
Projects in my mind are games that don't start or have significant cosmetic issues, like a blown out PF needing a swap. That game "appears" to be in decent shape and looks ready to play.
It's a good buy at that price if it's a title you want. I sold a nicer example pre-pandemic (fully shopped) for significantly more.

Oh! You mean the famous "They are selling on eBay for $XXXX.00" When in reality is they are listed on eBay for $XXXX.00 and nobody is buying it at that price. Or the famous "I seen it selling on eBay for $XXXX.00" or "They go for $XXXX.00 on eBay".
Those are the listings you just run from because they think their half assed, half working machine is gold.

I find it worrisome that there are new rubbers and the playfield looks that bad. Did they put on new rubbers and not try to clean the playfield at all? Or is that what the playfield looks like after they cleaned it. Yikes.
