Your CPU sends the signals to the alphnumeric master display board, telling it what to do.
So reseat all your connections, particularly the ribbon cables to the CPU.
This is presenting like problems on the alphanumeric master display board.
I've repaired these, it involves finding out what chips are involved with the symptom, and pulling those chips, putting in a socket, and putting a known good replacement chip into the board. This is board repair. If you aren't comfortable with doing this level of work, you may want to send it to a board technician.
There are vast numbers of chips available from china that are counterfeit. Get replacement chips from reputable suppliers like Marco, Pinball Life, or Mouser or Digi-Key, not amazon or ebay and you can avoid some hair-pulling anxiety when your replacements don't work, or fail early.

The schematic for this board starts on PDF page 59.
The parts list (helpful) is on PDF page 40.
I don't see a replacement board for sale, and that's a bit surprising because a LOT of glass displays are getting replaced with LED's, and when this board (and the glass displays) are getting replaced, the leftover parts should be available for people like you who don't have glass problems but need the board. You might advertise on Pinside here that you want a alphanumeric master display Board D-10877, and see if some helpful pinsider can help you.
Good luck!
