Quoted from gambit3113:

The Cowboys are what they are. Jerry drove this thing into the ditch years ago, and it will never get any better until he dies. And that presumes that his kid is smarter than he is, which I remain unconvinced.

Amazing how quickly he devolved into the next Al Davis.

#21 10 years ago
Quoted from gambit3113:

Pats, Ravens, Bengals, Texans, Broncos, __________
You are fighting for that last spot, and have to beat out the Dolphins, Steelers and Colts. Don't see the Bolts getting in.

The Dolphins are my favorite team. Been that way since the Marino years. I think they have a chance to sneak up on the Pats this year. Given the losses the Pats have sustained and the gains the Fish have made. Should be an interesting season. First time there has been reason for hope in Miami in a long time.

Quoted from gambit3113:

Reggie Roby's ridiculous face mask.

I had forgotten all about that damn thing.

Quoted from centerflank:

This is how trophy usually ends up after a Packer game (not her in pic)

This after a win or loss? Or is it the same sad state of affairs no matter the result?

#76 10 years ago
Quoted from centerflank:

or butt fumbles, he will be assembling WOZ's soon enough

As long as he doesn't work on mine I'm fine with it. He can butt fumble somebody else's WOZ. Hell, he may even enjoy it!

#80 10 years ago
Quoted from Pinball-is-great:

I hope Trophy does a tasmanian devil on your bonehead.

Quite likely he's hoping for the same!

#83 10 years ago
Quoted from trilogybeer:

Jay Cutler's tears have kept the grass green at soldier field .

Don't know what the grounds crew would have done without him.

Montreal Canadiens?

#255 10 years ago

Looks like Odin wins...

Yankees = 27
Canadiens = 24
Celtics = 17

#258 10 years ago
Quoted from o-din:

Do I get a cheezburger?

You get the VIP tent for the "camping trip".

#305 10 years ago

Anquan is a beast. Wish I would have drafted him. Ah well...

#308 10 years ago

At least the Packers D held Colin K. to under 500 yards passing. All that offseason planning and preparation really paid off!

#311 10 years ago
Quoted from tilt-master:

Yes it has, the Lions are 1-0 and on their way!

And the Fish are 1-0 as well! Awesomesauce!!!

#322 10 years ago

How about this shitty Sunday night game? Giants vs. Cowboys. Pffft!

#338 10 years ago

Knew you'd come around eventually.

I decided to be productive and am watching The Departed instead.

#352 10 years ago
Quoted from Pin-it:

Nope ,I escaped from NY.

L.A. next?

#361 10 years ago

I'll be at Lambeau tomorrow hoping Matthews and company can keep RGIII contained.

#380 10 years ago

This is where I spent my day today. It was good. Oh, and the Fish won too!

Quoted from kwiKimart:

Seattle's putting a beat-down on the Niners!!

Always fun watching the 49ers get their clock cleaned. Couldn't happen to a shittier team.

Thank goodness for Tony Gonzalez! He single-handedly brought my fantasy team back from the grave tonight. Awesomeness!

Quoted from Nilroc:

Both had hands to face.
Answer me this question. Why the #$%@ can Harbaugh run around on the field waving his hands and arms around like a lunatic! Is that not a penalty?

Harbaugh just likes to remind everyone that he is a giant douchebag from time to time.

Richard Sherman's actions and interview after the game were awesome. As far as I'm concerned the NFL has become completely pussified. It needs more brash characters like Sherman. Keeps things interesting.

I think Erin Andrews was most taken aback by the fact that he didn't throw out the usual boilerplate responses. "Team effort, we made plays when we needed to, praise Jesus, etc."

I'd much rather hear a guy call a competitor he just owned mediocre and proclaim himself the best at his position in the same breath. Far more entertaining (and honest) than the usual politically correct nonsense in my opinion.

Plus, he gave Crabtree some offseason fuel. Should make next year's 49ers/Seahawks games something to look forward to.

#2339 10 years ago
Quoted from Toasterdog:

For everyone ripping Sherman, you might wanna chech this out. Might change your mind about him

Anybody who goes after (and owns) Skip Bayless is a-ok in my book.

#2440 10 years ago
Quoted from CaptainNeo:

Don't worry. I just noticed he's been thumbing my ass for the past 3 days. I just went and got him back.

Geez... Get a room guys!

#2484 10 years ago
Quoted from centerflank:

This ones for you O-din!
Even with Marino the Fins still cant do squat
I think I picked him off 6-7 times with Karl Mecklenburg!

Good lord! You could at least upgrade to Tecmo Super Bowl. It has battery backup. No password required!

#2486 10 years ago
Quoted from navajas:

Are those batteries still working 23 years later?

Good question. I should do a check on my copy to see if it is still holding up after all these years. I fired up my Sega CD a couple years back and it was still holding on to all my ancient game saves. Pretty damn resilient!

#2506 10 years ago
Quoted from o-din:

First time ever the big game has landed on my b-day. It skipped around it a couple times because of leap year. I was really hoping that one of my teams might show up, but it's all good. Keg and ice cream for me!

The NFL should be ashamed it delivered such a shitty birthday present.

#2523 10 years ago
Quoted from ecurtz:

Let's see if Percy gets a chance to run back the 2nd half kickoff...
Man, the halftime show is lame even by the unbelievably low standards of the Super Bowl halftime show.

Called that one!

Peyton tears for everybody!

#2551 10 years ago
Quoted from davewtf:

It was just as bad as the Ravens-Giants one back in 01. In fact, we've been spoiled with good super bowls lately. We were overdue for a bad one.

Indeed. Games like this were the norm back in the 80's and 90's.

#2564 10 years ago
Quoted from Nilroc:

Very few believed Seahawks could pull it off besides true Seahawks Fans.
That map they showed before of the USA with blue representing Hawks and Orange representing Broncos.
The whole country other than the Pacific Northwest was cheering for Broncos!
Manning is one guy. Football is a team effort. Seahawks pulled it together and put up a team effort on every aspect of the game. Defense, Offence and Special Teams!
This team is young and believe in the Carroll system. If they can keep the core of this team there is no telling how far this team can go.
Congrats to the Hawks on a tremendous year!
Go Hawks!

Well I wasn't included in whatever poll that was taken to produce this map you speak of. Anytime Peyton loses I'm happy and I'm nowhere near the Pacific Northwest.

Aforementioned old lady was from Tronville.

Sounds like she had it coming then.

#4836 8 years ago

I've got Brady, Gronk, Edelman, and Miller going tonight. This week is looking pretty good so far!

#4838 8 years ago
Quoted from centerflank:

You sold your Tron, no one cares.

They make more.

#4842 8 years ago

Off to a solid start.

#4845 8 years ago
Quoted from centerflank:

I hope Arodge knocks your dick in the dirt with a 7 TD performance.............I assume you are rooting for that as well?

He won't beat Brady's total this week. You can bank on that.

They can still feel free to kick the shit out of that bitch Peyton though.

Quoted from wolverinetuner:

We’ve been over that for awhile now. It’s been a long time since the 1984 Tigers. As far as I know, it hasn’t happened in Motown since.

Not even when the Pistons won their championships? Granted that was still 30+ years ago…

#71762 3 months ago
Quoted from wolverinetuner:

I’m not positive on that, but I don’t recall anything like 1984 when the Pistons later won.

Holy crap. Apparently this happened after the Pistons won in 1990.
