Erik you are making me laugh. What in the world happened to Chase Young's neck? Not a great look for getting his photo snapped as he signed his new deal.
Quoted from CrazyLevi:Are the Colts up for a new stadium any time soon? Psinet is getting long in the tooth!
We just got enhancement money of like 600 mil like 2 years ago. The bank is an awesome stadium experience.

Glitch in the matrix?
I bumped into a Steelers fan here at work this morning and he is floating on air. He is so surprised and happy about RW (not RalphWiggam) and Fields joining the team. He was saying something to the effect of, "The Steelers don't ever do things like this." He also said that Pickett is soft. The guy was grinning from ear to ear.

I would be happy if I was a Steelers fan too tbh. They went from a team in QB purgatory, who is perpetually stuck in mid to low draft rounds, and not much hope, to a team with 2 high upside QB's. It may not work out the way fans would hope for, or turn into a QB controversy clusterfuck, but at least there is reason to have hope. Pickett is clearly not ready for prime time and needs more development or may just be backup material.
Quoted from boscokid:For some it's opening day for baseball or the start of NCAA Sweet 16 but for me it's just 28 days until the NFL draft
I'm fortunate that I like hockey. Season is winding down and my team is still in the chase for the best record in the league. Keeps me from going to sex clubs.

If your kids (and wife!) are 21 or over, numbers one and two should be no obstacle. Number three ditto if you have more than ten dollars. Number four not a problem unless STDs were contractable from Jenga last night. Number five maybe the barrier since I didn't see a TV
Quoted from blueberryjohnson:STDs were contractable from Jenga last night.
I imagine you can’t use your hands to play Jenga in a sex club?
Follow-up question (asking for a friend)…..What does $10 get you at this club?

Not my thing but doing whatever people invite me to as I travel around seeing friends. Been on the road since Mar 3. Mexico, Dallas, Houston, Toronto, Portland, now Astoria. Seattle this weekend. First times doing: temazcal ceremony, pinball festival, acro yoga class, nude model drawing, shrooms + whippets, cold plunge + hot sauna, among other stuff. Sex club bottom ranked on that list, though cold plunges were close.

GREAT PRIME RIB THOUGH
I’m always curious how some players retire while still playing the best ball of their career. I’m not talking about Andrew Luck who was often injured.
I’m talking about Aaron Donald and Jason Kelce (to name 2 but I’m sure there are other good examples like Barry Sanders ).
Aaron Donald said it took so much out of him to keep his edge or something like that. I’m sure Kelce feels similar. And while $15-30M extra per year sounds nice, these guys will make money off the field and they probably haven’t blown their money like Antonio Brown for example.
They are likely set for life by not blowing all their earnings as well as significant post career earnings.
So the only reason to keep playing was ‘love of the game’ and team affiliation, prestige, legacy etc. that’s counter-weighed by the stress and effort put in.
So I look at the few that keep playing what would be a decade longer than Aaron Donald (twice as long) guys like Brady, Rodgers, (Lebron James in the NBA) and thinking what’s the big difference between them?
I’d say Aaron Donald could have been the best defensive player of all time if he kept playing but not with a 10 year career. Reggie White was 13 times all pro and played 15 years in the NFL plus 2 years in the USFL.

You are comparing two guys who played in the trenches getting hit and hitting every single play to Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady. Two dudes who rarely get touched. Not a hard one to sort out.

Sure but Reggie White played much longer in the trenches. Maybe had he been a ‘hundred millionaire’ he might not have chosen to play as long. Just checked Reggie made just $33M in 15 years. I understand inflation makes it not a straight comparison but guys are making more than that in one year. Also Reggie didn’t play at the highest level at the end he played with Carolina for $1M one year. Maybe due to needing money but I’m not sure, White won DPOTY in 1998 and retired but came out of retirement for one year in Carolina had just 5.5 sacks.

How about a medieval themed strip club and it's called "medieval dimes"?

Dude, you are just grabbing an outlier. I directly addressed what you brought up. You are comparing apples to oranges and asking why they aren't the same because one time you saw an apple that kinda looked like an orange.

Navratilova been to a Chicago Cubs game huh?
Seriously spellcheck wtf
Eagles trading pass rusher Haason Reddick to Jets for conditional 2026 third-round pick.
Not much value for this guy but he fell off a cliff last year (with the rest of the defense) wants new contract at $25M per year.

Could be a 2nd round based on performance plus they save $14M is salary this year. Still have over $30M in cap space.

Eagles got Huff (FA) from jets who’s younger and cheaper plus a future 3rd for Reddick (trade).
Reddick wasn’t the only problem with the Eagles defense collapsing last year but he had 11 sacks in the first 13 games and zero in the last 5 so he wasn’t playing like a $20M player. However the Eagles scheme was horrible after they put Matt Patricia in charge of the defense and he had Reddick dropping back in coverage a lot which was super frustrating.
The Eagles weren’t going to pay Huff and Reddick and Sweat all three over $10M so they got rid of the most expensive guy and got a future return that could be a 2nd round pick. Plus freed up some money to pay Barkley and maybe get a better WR or secondary player.

I have a friend from Pittsburgh that's lived in Seattle for the past 20 years. His comment was "Great, my two teams both get to feature Russel Wilson's declining years." I told him he should have also become a Broncos fan.
Quoted from tomdrum:This was his 1st FG attempt since high school
What’s the story there? Does the UFL have a requirement that kickers have no college experience?
Bates was a "kickoff specialist" in college and never had to attempt a field goal. Not uncommon in college.
All this talk about kickers..had me thinking of Sabastien Janokowski. He sure could kick for distance, but also signed a stupid overpaid contract-good for him thou on a bad raiders team
Quoted from DudeRegular:That aint good
Keep an open mind until we know all the details. Maybe it is good.
