the pitch motor on my williams short stop baseball game is not releasing the arm after it makes the first turn to wind the spring. So it is frozen.
the lever that is suppose to push the release is getting stuck on the release instead of pushing it down.

davidalper Take the entire pitch mech off the playfield. Take apart and clean every moving part and hinges on all the stop dogs with alcohol. No lubricants. Make sure the center spring is mounted correctly. Re-wind the pitch arm... I had to clean and reassemble mine 4 times before I got it right.

If everything is moving smooth and your motor works, it should fire right up!

As I AmTheCzar says this will probably do it. But also when cleaning ensure the dog posts swivel freely.
