Just picked up a Big hurt last weekend, very fun game with a very decent rule set. Hitting homeruns and grand slams does not get old and I love how it keeps track of them with separate initials for high score on each. Set up hard, BIG HURT is a difficult game to throw around, and there is no rubber at those outlanes.
Having owned a few System 3's, the key to good game play is to set them up very hard in the settings or tournament settings. They were just too forgiving from the box and set that way to make people feel like they really were doing good or got fair play value. Competing with Williams/Bally, this was their approach.
With that said, StarGate and Shaq are very good games. Shaq is considered a dog, don't be fooled. The great thing about Shaq is it has separate basket counters for points on the playfield and pinball points on the dmd, so it's two ways to play against a friend or friends- lots of possibilities, like teaming up and combing 2 friends basket scores against 2 other friends, etc.
Waterworld is one I wanted to like and could not get into it at all. It has some decent shots, but the rules leave the game hung out to dry big time.
BARB WIRE on the other hand, I played at Allentown and thought was pretty pretty good....
