Hi all....First time machine owner. Just bought a Stargate. Can someone advice me on how to set the game to free play. It was originally set to freeplay but all of sudden now its requiring coins for credit. Not sure how it got changed or how to change it back to free play. Thanks
There's a switch inside the cabinet near the coin door that is used to toggle tournament mode, which is how free play is enabled. Make sure that switch is in the correct position, and then while the coin door is open you can use the flipper buttons to tweak a few tournament settings shown on the display, including enabling free play. If you can't activate tournament mode, there may be something wrong with the switch.

Thanks...Do you need to have the buttons which there are two depressed inside the coin door to switch it into tournament mode?

You can pull the bottom button out to keep the machine on while you have the coin door open.
