lol. Suggest you do some more research on the value of a game in that condition. I’m sure you’ll find a local buyer that can pick up the machine but expect quite a bit less than half of what you’re asking.

#3 32 days ago

I'm just here for the comments...but...in the off chance the OP actually reads this post, change the batteries in your Indiana Jones pin. They are dead and may be leaking which could cause other issues. That will clear the "Factory Settings Restored" error message you are getting on the startup. And while you are at it, change both the broken sling rubbers in your $14k IJ. There, my good deed for the day is done. I bid you adieu.

#4 32 days ago

Yea TAF is way to high in that shape they go for around 10 k and both IJ and TAF both needs a lot of money and time ,IJ is to high also u should change the rubbers and battery’s in both ,there could be battery acid on that board

#5 32 days ago

Highly routed game that someone tried to fool us with a bad "gold" decal job

Looks completely beat down.

Might be ok for a restoration candidate. $6500 to $7000 maybe.

However someone who sees the gold decals might unfortunately pay more.
THIS IS NOT A GOLD EDITION, NOR IS IT A GOLD CABINET!

No gold bookcase? lol.

Note the missing extra ball button for the buy in.

Looks like a worn out re-import. The fuse decal has been overwritten with an 8 to cover the 5.

Misleading, terrible ad.

Credit dot?

#6 31 days ago

It’s obvious Grasons-Stanisla is not an expert on pins. They’re just casting a wide net hoping to get a catch. I’ll guarantee you they won’t get anywhere near the asking price to anyone on Pinside or anyone remotely knowledgeable of pinball and current pricing/condition. In the OP’s defense the ad does say OBO.

I pretty much agree with everything you said, but what are you seeing that makes you think it has new cabinet decals as opposed to just being a late model version that had these gold decals? It's definitely not a gold edition, but if someone wanted to fake a gold edition, I would think they would use the decals with the blue lettering like the gold edition had. Doesn't make it worth more, but I think it just has the original end of run decals.

This may be true, Ive heard it happened.

But I also see that the game is a re-import also.

Someone has done things to it, so you never know.

#13 31 days ago

The small serial number sticker on the front matches the serial number inside. Yes it's possible that was faked but I doubt it so I'm with Mvf on the cabinet.

"I know what I've got!"

No you don't.

#15 31 days ago

Wow, you think you can get top dollar for a game i have to spend days working on? No thanks. This is not a gold edition, and this game is not in that good of shape. You'd be lucky to get $7,500 for it OP.

The IJ is also a re-import.

$4500 (even though Im not even done with my current project..)

Ill pick up the IJ too, while I'm there for the same price.

It looks like they both need $6500 worth of work each...

Evidently "route trash" has become my specialty.

#28 31 days ago
Quoted from Mikala:

The IJ is also a re-import.

And it still looks a hell of a lot nicer than most domestic IJs. Where the game has been doesn't mean a thing. It's about the condition and how well it was maintained. Yeah, lots of shitty re-imports out there, but just as many shitty domestic ones...

#29 31 days ago

I keep saying this but pinball seems to be more expensive in CA.

You joke but that was the original price. They changed it to 20K after about an hour.

So is 30k the take it home price then?

#34 31 days ago

That one is no way near worth that kind of money 7k maybe a mint restored inside and out and done very well go for that but NOT this one

#35 29 days ago
Quoted from Steveboos:

You'd be lucky to get $7,500 for it OP.

This game would be SOLD! Instantly at that price.
It's not 20k, but it really isn’t a bad example. No mansion wear, cab seems fine, no magnet burn, etc. Possible battery damage, but could be fine also.
I’d love to work on this one and it would turn out fine with minimal parts/effort.

#36 29 days ago
Quoted from DNO:

All day long and twice on Sunday.

#37 29 days ago

Highest bid for IJ at the moment is $9600.

#38 29 days ago

It is definitely a reimport. The serial number indicates it was an export machine.

#39 29 days ago

Yes I think both are

#40 29 days ago

What’s the TAF upto now

#41 29 days ago

The # of responses is more indicative of a problem, than the original post, as Pinside is just an advertising outlet. I include myself as part of the problem(someone is reading my rant), but don't fool yourselves, today's world...
