Quoted from kvan99:some that are staying forever...F-14 is definitely in the latter camp
Oh yeah, keeping it till I die die die.
Quoted from Industen:I placed two shakers in mine(both go off at the same time). I only wanted them for the center rescue targets when hit. The two motors(12v) I used were $10 total. The relay board was about $15. Since I just need a quick on/off I went simple with this. I have other controllers for more advance stuff but I don't want overkill. It works awesome for $25!
Do you have a detailed how- to on that? sounds cool!
Quoted from Jumping-Box:I need to find a way to brighten the top flipper area.
I added flex led's by the stand up targets and tied them into the GI. Does the trick nicely.

Quoted from Jumping-Box:That looks nice. Please be specific, I see cointaker has many Flex LEDs to choose from. Are yours white or blue and how many did you install? Great job!
Two red on left and two blue on right.
Quoted from Pinball_Nate:Heck, somebody has to have one of those LED'd bumper caps - seems the absolutely simplest way to light that dark upper pf area?......
I put one in a year or so back. Ordered from Europe, glad Pinballife has them more local now.
It does help light things up, but the flex lights by the stand ups does more.
Quoted from Fifty:Occasionally a second ball will launch out of one of the ball locks, essentially creating a 2 ball multiball.
I had this problem with mine, ended up being a bad coil diode. When the coil fired, it was sending voltage upstream to the ball release coils and actually activating them. Look for a bad or de-soldered diode.
Quoted from sethbenjamin:Hey all - I want to add lamp sockets under the upper TOM and CAT targets, to add light and match the GI lighting on the other spot targets. Has anybody else done this, and can you give me wiring tips? Seems like I should just be able to tap into the GI braid, but do sockets change the equation?
Did that. Tapping into GI is what I did with Flex-LED's.

Quoted from sethbenjamin:Well, I tried putting in the new lamps and now the upper playfield GI is out.
Check the fuse, then carefully go over everything you did looking for possible shorts. Are the new lamps LED or incandescent? I would go with LED so as not to overload the circuit and or burn up board connectors.
Quoted from kilmarnock1350:Zippy, where did you put the Flex LEDs?? I can only see the 4 LEDs installed between TOMCAT.
those are flex led's, hard to tell in the pic, but they are angled towards the pop bumper
Quoted from kilmarnock1350:Aren't they hard on the eyes? just curious.
That's why I used Flex LED's, so I could angle them away from my eyes.
