I think I'm screwed, literally and figuratively. My Flash Gordon pf swap was going so well and I was so close to being done. Then this happened. This is the bottom end of the launch ramp. What kills me is I had the original ramp installed an decided to swap to a shiny new ramp and also new #4 screws. The new screws were 1/2" rather than 3/8" and probably crappy metal, so the head snapped (yes, I pre-drilled). Only thing I can think to do is us a Dremel to grind out around the broken screw just deep enough to get a needle-nose plier on the tip enough to back it out. Any other suggestions?

I always keep an "unscrewum" next to me

But people have many ways. Could drill it out them full hole with a dowel and re screw for example

Yeah, that might be tough to get with a common scew extractor but it could be done.

You could also just drill it out very carefully. You could also use a small high speed dremel and bit.

I've gotten similar screws out like that before using those methods. Mask off the surrounding area in case your high speed bit slips.

I was also thinking I could try and get it out from the underside and then fill in with wood filler.

Might try drill beside the screw to get it out that way or under then re fill after Pinball Life has some good hard wood filler works well

I decided to give these a try first. Thanks for the suggestion.

They've got me out of a few tough Jams. Broken off my share of top hat posts (including one on a brand new FG PF) that needed extraction.
