So my Pong Table is now doing something I have never experienced. Game turns on, you start a game and about 10-15 second into the game I'm getting a high pitched squelching sound...the score board goes nuts...game stops playing and the white lights all come on around the playfield.

I have zero idea what is happening. Does anyone have any ideas?

    Thanks!

Wow...ditto...i was just getting on here today to say the same thing and see if there was help or knowledge of it.

Well mine will keep playing but not score, everything else is the same except that God awful screech until you turn it off... was randomly doing it but it just happened twice in a row so it's an issue...

Could you share your contact. Would really like to buy some spares!
    Thanks

    An update to this.
I ended up being shunted to the factory in China, and after a dozen back and forths got a parts package shipped to me that had spare tapes rolls, bat's, balls etc.
The new ball fixed the problem, and the new models have pretty atari/pong green glow writing on them so swapped them out too.

Selling mine to fund more pinball purchase
Didn't get much play, but makes a great piece to entertain guests, so not in a rush to sell. Please message me if interested. Can ship with STL/Beltmann on buyer's expense.

Hey guys , I have a client that has the high pitch noise . I ordered a new amp board and will see if that fixes it . If not the next stop is the main board . I’ll let you know what I find out.

So, I have the same issue, my game works great for 10 min, then I get a high pitched squeal but every thing else works fine. It has repeated this the last 4 times it's been on. Phatchit Brazy PromoJoe23 , anyone solve this issue?

Not on my end yet. Calling the factory tomorrow.

Well this is the email I got back when I submitted technical help. $600 to replace the board...Yikes!

    Good morning Joe,

That is usually a failed main board. Below is a link to the main board on our website. You’ll want to verify that your main board looks like this one (same size and connectors) before ordering as there are two different boards that are commonly used.

Dunno about over there, but here we have a few guys who we can send boards to for pinball or video games. I'm assuming if they have schematics they can go over them?

Also, i found the factory support to be the best and far more knowledable than the agent i contacted. A second opinion may be beneficial. Pretty sure i posted the contact above somewhere.

    #315 4 months ago

Thanks for the update on the issue. Yes I'd think the local pinball guys could possibly trace the problem out so i might look at the schematics and see about pulling the board and have it tested... but without the pong to put it back in I'd think it would be trial and error but a good tech knows what to do. If i get any further ill update. Thanks again.

I got an email back from UNI support. They suggest it's probably the board. $590. I asked how do they know that, is this common, and can't we just repair the board? No answer , I think there is no tech there, just parts guessing , who wants to guess for $600.

I am going to look at my board and try to repair it, mine functions less the high pitched squeal after 20 sec of play. I'll start with the power train and move fwd. I'll report back what I discover.

Yes please let us know. I was looking through the schematics and going to show to a buddy who can test everything and see what he thinks.. he's in Florida but gonna be visiting so if he wants to help I'll let him take it home and ship it back. Any info you figure out will be helpful!

Well I got the high pitched squeal tonight. So.... I shut it off, unplugged it from the wall. Then 5 min later powered it back And so far so good. A bunch of games have gone fine. And I let it sit in attract for about 3 hours. Played a few more games then shut it off and unplugged for the night. If it happens again I'll open it up and check the boards and power supply.

Anybody have any luck with the squeal problem other than replacing the board? Mine is now a dead paperweight until I get it fixed.

    #320 25 days ago

I've not found the time to open it up and pull the board to see if a buddy can fool with it..i need to because it pains me to let it sit unused...

They have two new versions now, both coin op
    [quoted image][quoted image]

Just picked up a coffee table version. Have the screech on starting to play so going to order a new main board ( I assume this is the only easy fix found so far). Re the coin op versions - can the original home tables be converted to coin op with a new panel? I see there is an option in the menus for coin play.

    In short
    No

The original builds were suppposed to have coin option, they bailed on it during late planning during Kickstarter

Hi i have a problem with my pong table that I bought used,

the ball is not served at the racket as you can see at the video and it changes the direction in play. I never saw a pong game where the ball changes its way haha... that can't be correct right ? :

    https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/lptzjb0jau9fcfe5ilxsy/IMG_6339.mov?rlkey=dcb15ukuitjzbpbmbxn7vxorr&dl=0

is that because the belts are not tight enough ?

also the x axis is where wobbling/loose ... is that normal ? how can I fix that ? :

    https://www.dropbox.com/s/4ytmv67tg09mydm/IMG_6340.MOV?dl=0

maybe the rollers are to worn ?

i also have a red light at the multimedia board.

is there a way to check if the 4 sensors are working correctly ? they are not checked in the button test.

can I tighten the y belts by loosing the screws at the second picture ? or is it the only chance by buying that adapter for the screw holes at picture 1 ?

    greets

Is there a way to speed up the player 1 and 2 rackets movement speed ? Maybe other dip switch settings at the 5 stepper driver modules ?
