Hi everyone,

Here it is a realistic mod for the Jurassic Park machine. (Pro/Premium/LE).

The Jurassic Park Agusta A109 Helicopter Mod.

Price will be 150 euros + shipping 20 euros.
If you want the two wires (Yellow Light Helipad & Red Flasher Helipad), it will be 15 euros in plus.

Several options :

1. The blades of the helicopter can spin every time.
You can also adapt the speed of the propellers.

2. The spinning of the blade can be connected with the yellow light of the “helipad”.
3. The spinning of the blade can be connected with the red flasher “helipad”.
So spinning goes only when this light turns on.

4. You can also put your mod in static way, without spinning.

The inside of the cabin of the helicopter has white clear led which is connected with the GI (General illumination of the game).

Note : For the Premium/LE machine you have to accept that when you will remove the iron propeller with our helicopter mod some few points will not count at your score. It doesn’t impact your global scoring !

Yes today. I have to understand really how to make that for the Premium/LE machine. Let me time. It is possible but there is an opto at the end of the axis of the helipad under the playfield. So if you move out the helipad of premium / LE I have to understand what to do with that. It’s seems that the opto illuminates the red flasher…

Yes today it is always on. You can of course stop the rotation of the blade with the controller and you can also lower the speed with the bouton as you can see on this photo. I have to see for an interaction with the pinball if it is possible. But on the principle it will be ok for that.

Finally it is working for the Premium/LE machine. You have just to accept to not count some few points on your scoring.

Yes I agree with you. I am working about spinning only when the ball will contact the existing microswitch on the ramp for a duration of X seconds. The value of X to define, 5 to 10 seconds.

Here it is the interaction promised.

I have chosen the Yellow Helipad Bulb. So the blades turns when this light goes on

Some improvements about two things on the helicopter.
I have remove the white socket at the level of the wheel, because on the JP helicopter this is a A109 C. So you don't have the white socket as the A109 E.
And the identification of the helicopter has been put on the top versus under the machine on the first version. It is for a better renderer.

Your matchbox is fun. But here it is clearly not the same concept. We have also motor sound on microswitch with all machine (Pro/Premium/LE). So when you pass through this microswitch you activate the sound of motor and the red flasher. On my mod you can connect the propellers to the red flasher. So the blades of the helicopter will turn when you pass thru this switch.

As I have said on my introduction post, with my mod you loose the small points you add when you touch the original iron blade and yes you loose also the copter blade sound effect. So it is your choice to have a beautiful and realistic mod with the A109 versus the iron blade (very ugly for me ) you have at the origin. For myself it is not a concern. And the customer can choose what he wants. I hope my purpose is clear.

We are building also motors here. It is the final color we have choose for the plate and the motor.

To be clear, you don't loose light, just a certain sound and few points . You have sound of the motor of helicopter because when you go on the ramp you have a microswitch on all models (Pro/Premium/LE). This microswicth makes sound and light (red flasher).
