- Kingpin
- King Kong
- Goin' Nuts
- Thunderball

So get off your crappy Pokemon Go and go hunt some real world shit

If I convince TJ to finally sell his Kingpin at CAX, would that count?

Actually, if I COULD convince him to sell it, I'd be buying it! Sorry.

#4 7 years ago

I can find you a RZ possibly

TJ said his price was $2 million last time I checked, lol. I can pay some good money for it, but not that kind of money haha.

I had someone local to me , ask if I was interested in a Goin' Nuts last year, I said no. I'm not sure what the story is now, but the guy at least knew of one for sale in the 11-13 range I think it was.

#7 7 years ago

Still on the hunt for some of these fine gems

#9 7 years ago

What are the estimated going rate for each of these? I know we've been through King Kong, what about the others?

I didn't realize Goin' Nuts was that high. I love playing it but definitely not worth it to me.

Only 10 production units of Goin' Nuts were ever made, and most are in private collections, but one or two might occasionally get brought to pinball shows. One is available for public play at the Pinball Hall of Fame in Las Vegas.

Given the rarity, I think the $11K - $13K range is too low.

So you went from $500 to $1,000 on a King Kong lead?
https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/25000-to-the-first-person-or-500

Must be getting desperate.

Must be getting desperate.

I wouldn't say I'm "desperate" but I'm definitely serious about making a deal on one, or all of these machines. I just spoke with someone who had recently sold their Goin Nuts between Expo and now because he got "an offer he couldn't refuse". I also spoke with one person willing to sell their KP but let's just say their price was approaching wayyyyy too many zeros.

Would really like a King Kong probably most of all at this point. The hunt continues....

This guy picked up a King Kong at an estate sale. I'm still waiting for the pictures he promised.

Good luck Train!

#15 7 years ago

I know where 2 of these titles are (KK and KP), but the owners are not wanting to sell

Good luck in your search.....

No love for Krull? That's one of the rare ones I would really like.

The no Krull love surprised me too.

Anyone selling one of those games either knows exactly what they have and wants crazy money, or someone doesn't and it would be crazy to let someone else buy it, even for $1,000.

Yep, the buy in price is too high on them, and seems to have gotten a lot higher the last 18 months for some reason.

The 1,000 is just the finders fee, ROFL. There was no way on EARTH I thought I would be able to track down any of these machines for $1k, let alone pretty much any DMD title at all these days for that price

Already have a Krull
(But if someone wants to sell me another one hit me with a PM)

Now you're being greedy instead of needy.

Does it come with all the PF dirt free!?

Does he route that game? Every time I see it at the show it's super dirty and lights out etc so just wondering

#25 7 years ago

I know. if someone finds a cheap one, it's not worth giving you the lead even if you are giving them $1,000. They'd just buy it themselves.

Not sure he's looking for cheap one here, but not one priced at 500k ;D

Nailed it!

I'm not looking for some amazing score out of grandmas basement for the price of hug and a smile.

I'm just looking for some rare games at an agreed upon fair price for both parties

I actually had one offered to me for $22,500 a few years ago. Had to pass.

That does seem rather excessive. I'd pass too!

What are Krulls commanding these days?

I have no idea. That was my first and only run in with that title.

I think only about 5-6 are accounted for, out of the whopping number of nine that were made.

Should be people dumping king pin soon considering circus maximus just leaked out a photo that they'll be revealing it at tpf. The playfield clearly shows the fuel gauge near the flippers. That has to be the worst feeling for owners, I'm sorry

#45 6 years ago

Here’s a King Pin! Looks like they’re being dumped already in anticipation of the remake.
