Here's something you don't see too often...
Can you name an EM/SS pin with only one or two pop bumpers?
(Please post the manufacturer and year if you know them.)

Demo Man is my favorite (2). I love when pops are used well (both in the pop area and in the center flipper area in this case) rather than just having a part of the playfield for 3 pops then the ball trickles out somewhere.
A few Solid states:
One pop: Williams Black Knight, 1981
One pop: Stern Nine Ball, 1981
Two pops: Williams Defender, 1982

Gottlieb El Dorado and all it's relatives have two.
Williams Pinky has two thumper bumpers.
Grand Prix has two as well.
Quoted from kevmad:CV - most of the time only 2 pops. On rare occasions, the third rises from below the playfield.
Williams Gusher has that same feature.
Quoted from o-din:Williams Gusher has that same feature.
Seriously? a moving pop in 1958?

Yep. In 1960 they had a machine called Nags with 6 pop bumpers on a turntable. Pretty cool stuff.
Mario Andretti (95), Class of 1812 (91), Tee'd Off (93), Wipe Out (93), Count Down/Space Walk (79), Title Fight (90), Street Fighter II (93), Bone Busters Inc. (89), Excalibur (88), Hollywood Heat (86), Royal Flush Deluxe (83), Hot Shots (89), Spirit (82) and Pinball Magic (95) all have a single pop bumper. There are many more in SS and EM.
Rock, Victory, Barb Wire, Shaq Attaq, Strikes 'N Spares, Car Hop, Gladiators, Rock Encore, World Challenge Soccer, Cue Ball Wizard, Arena by Gottlieb don't even have one pop bumper.
Not going to go into the 2 pop games, there are too many.
Steve
Quoted from Law:They both have three.
Looked at some closer pictures and I do see now that there are two, but I'm not seeing the third.
I can't beleive no one has mentioned one of my favourite games, CATACOMB. Only two pops on catacomb, 1981 I think?
Quoted from WaddleJrJr:Looked at some closer pictures and I do see now that there are two, but I'm not seeing the third
Pretty sure it is under the miniplayfield.
Quoted from QuarterGrabber:How about games with no pop bumpers at all. Elektra and Grand Lizard.
There is already a thread for that.
Stargate (Gottlieb 1995) has two off the side of the left orbit that advance towards the Hurry-Up.
Waterworld (Gottlieb 1995) has two in front of the Deez.
Actually all 3 of Steve Kirk's pins at Stern have 1 pop : Stars (1978), Meteor (1979) and Nine Ball (1980).
He said he had to fight to get it accepted.

Only thing rare on that game is neon multiball, still love it though.
