Began my pin play young. I have early memories playing machines at Cedar Point, in Sandusky, Ohio, always looking forward to the massive arcade there. My strongest memories come from the late 1970s through early 1980s. My father was in retail for 40+ years, and during his time managing a retail store at the Piqua East Mall (Ohio), I would go to the Woolworths store and play the pinball machines. There were usually 2 machines near the outside entrance and they were frequently rotating with new games. Eight Ball Deluxe is by far a favorite and I would play it until my mom would come retrieve me.

When my sister turned 18 my dad purchased ALIVE from Sears as sister was a fan of Elvis. I played that game religiously, with my crowning moment coming when I hit 999,999. I remember the fifth and final ball was in play for a longtime and after loosing it, I could only watch the digits on the scoreboard turn, hoping to top a million. << PHOTO: coming soon upon finding. >>
