Hello to all. First we want to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

We have some good news, our new facility will be finished built up to the end of January.
We temporally laid of the work on our Repro Playfields to speed up getting our new facility set up.
It is no use to always get back blows from companies that just don’t do the work as it should be, we need
to get there to do all the work ourselves. A lot of machinery has arrived and we have installed electric and
air system. Heating pipes are laid for the air system for the paint booth. Next step is to install the paint booth.
At the same time we are trying to get ahead of the PB playfield production.
At the beginning of January we can start moving the milling machines to our new facility,
Electric and Air system for them are set up, also the new vacuum units for them are ready.
We now have over 1000 square meters, so much space that we actually don’t know what to do with it, nice feeling.
Next year we can speed up production with new machinery and new staff, we are getting ready to rumble.

    Enjoy your holidays
    Best regards from Hamburg
    Leon & Peter

    Hello to all.
It has been some time were we updated. We are getting on with the new facility. All the equiptment has been delivered and we could start building up the paintbooth. The paint booth is nearly finished, we are a bit further than the pictures are showing, the last wall of the paint booth is completed, next step is to pull in the ceeling. Small little things like lite and clean up the walls, paint them to get a smooth finishing.
    Attached are some pictures.
We will get the paint booth finished next week. We will also get the air chanels mounted, incomming air with heating system and out going air with the filter system. That is all still a bit tricky, but then it will be easy going.
Then we still need to finish the walls for the curing rooms, that should go fast, straight forward walls, easy going.
We will place a new update soon.
Wish you all a nice Sunday.
    Regards from Hamburg

    Hello to all.
Today we have managed to get the last 2 milling machines and the vacuum pump out of the basement. 1 Milling machine, vacuum pump and controler box is loaded into the transporter. On Monday we will bring them to our new facility. Was quite a battle to get all the machines out. Once we have set the milling machines in our new facility, we can start milling new boards and at the same time build up the rest of the painting both and dry chambers.
Now we will dismantel the ramp and take some rest.
The pictures are showing a bit how we built up the ramp from the basement into the garden. Pulling up the machines. Happy that this step is now done.
We wish you a nice weekend.
    Regards from Hamburg.

Second picture you can see the ceiling behind the air inlet and the first light installed.
Third picture is showing the wall construction for the first curing room, these walls need to have double planking,
    it’s a F90 Wall, fire resistance for 90 minutes.
The last picture you can see the start of the first planking and under the ceiling the electric for the lights inside the rooms.
    We will update regular.

    Have a nice weekend

    Hello again.
Today we finished planking the wall with the first layer. On Monday we will fill it and put the second layer.
We started to build the next wall section, the metal konstruction is nearly completed. We ran out of metal profiles, will get them on Monday morning. After that it is 1 more section to close the room.
The ceiling in the paint both is planked, now we need to fill the joints and sand the ceiling and walls. Next step will be to mount
the heating system for the incomming air.
We wish all a good weekend.

We have had a battle weekend with our printing machine. It is starting to get cold now and lots of rain. We have had 2 choices.

Fix up the garage and get it ready for printing. This option also have some slight hooks, it is hard to get temperature inside, if it rains we also have high air moisture.
We would need to fix the roof, for it started to leak badly with the continues rain that we have lately.
There is not a lot of space available to move freely, but it would be a quick solution to get the Terminator 2 playfields printed. If all works out well!

The second option is to take the silk screen machine apart, try and get the parts into the van and bring all to the new facility.
There we have enough space, heating and good light. Easier working and definitely wont run into problems with various temperature fluctuations.
Because we are waiting for the screen maker, he will be back from holiday next week, we decided to risk it to take the printing machine apart and bring it to the new facility.

This is an old printing machine, weighs more than a ton. The heaviest is the frame, solid 10cm thick iron. We guess the vacuum table at 350 kg. No crane and the lifting pallet truck
Don’t fit through the entrance of the garage, to high. So we had to manually lift all parts of using wood and the small lifting pallet truck. We had to put the machine on rolls to get it to the entrance of the garage, from there we could use the big lifting truck to get the vacuum table of, step by step. Sunday evening the vacuum table was in the van.

    Monday morning.
Off-loading in the new facility was no problem, there we have a decent fork lift, didn’t take 5 minutes.
We then drove straight back home to get the frame loaded, the biggest task. The frame fits through the door of the van with 5mm clearance. There we are with a wobbling heavy frame in the air.
We had to reverse the van, for you cannot push this weight, cm by cm backwards while lifting and sinking the lifter. We were very relieved once the monster was in the van.
Off loading in the new facility was again not even 5 minutes.

Now the machine is in the new facility in the first floor, the elevator was big enough to fit the frame. Next task will be to clean all nicely and get the machine mounted again.

    Regards from Hamburg
    Ron, Leon and Peter

Very cool what you three are doing !
What a monster from a machine. Looking forward for al the silkscreened playfields which will show up !
Think it would make no sense to print in the garage anymore. Wet air seems to be a killer for printing, airbrush and everything with colors and clear.

For my Capcom projects I organised a silkscreen for the warning texts. I just found one firm to do so: in Hamburg.
    Maybe its your "screenmaker".

    Hi
    Thank you.
No, the silk screen company ist only suppling equiptment for printing and they make screens.
    They dont print personally anymore.
Maybe I know them, you could PM me the name and Ill let you know, I know of 3 Companies that still do silkscreening in Hamburg. (Not T-Shirts)

    Hello again

Today we completed to mount the printing machine and put it on its spot. We did the first test, all is working nice. On Monday we will start doing the fine tuning, adjusting and levelling the machine. We have mounted some decent lights over the machine. We will still build a table for checking the print. Hope the screen maker will get the screens done first thing, he will be back from holiday on Monday. Can wait to start printing, love it somehow, seeing the image build up step for step, colour for colour and then black, in one go it turns into a full pictures.
Here si a video of the printing machine running on Automatic.

Make sure your sound is low, it is pretty load.

    https://www.facebook.com/buthamburg.de/videos/936436104871735

Here is a short video of the milling machiens running.
The first is milling the rear side of the Getaway Playfields, the second machine is milling the insert pockets and the 3rd is doing the finish milling on printed Queen playfields.

    Again watch your sound.

In December we will have some time to set up walls so that we dont have to be contaminated by the sound the whole day long.

    Have a nice weekend

    Hello to all

    Time for a small update.
Next week we will be starting to send out the first BOP playfields.
    Busy getting them packed.

We are ready to print the Getaway Playfields. All is set up, next week we will start the printing.

In the mean time we produce a new batch of Bumper Caps.
03-8254 Bumper Caps and 03-9007 Bumper Caps Sun Burst.
We have made special colours, like Fluorescent Red and Green in both versions, Sun Burst and Plain.
We have made extra colours on the Sun Burst like Dark Blue #10
and Green #11, Clear #13, Violet #18 and Light Blue #30
Here are some pictures of the Bumper Caps. The Bumper Caps are packed in sets of 3 per unit in a plastic pipe bag, each Bumper Cap has its own chamber.
    We have more.
