Quoted from 2000_Alum:Grr...I got excited that I missed an Iron Maiden code update and hurried to Stern's site...nope.
What is the short version of Iron Maiden?...since IM has always been Iron Man
Quoted from jacksparrow0112:The Tilt Toppers homepage still shows your model, but if you actually go to purchase one under "shop" you see that the version they are producing now looks different. I would love to get my hands on the version you just received. Really love how that looks with the gate and torches.[quoted image]
Your picture is the only version I see at Tilt. Still way better than Stern's version.
Holy crap this is a good game! I had never played one before ordering mine...just went by what everyone was saying.
In fact it was reading everything that convinced me to get this over the game I was really looking at, Deadpool. Deadpool wins on theme for me and theme has always been important to me, but the more I read, the clearer it became that I would enjoy JP more.
I like shorter ball time games with tough shots. Cleary by the reviews Deadpool is a longer ball time pin vs JP.
Glad I did my homework becasue this game rocks. I'm not going to review it for a while, I have way too much to learn, but I can tell this will be in my collection for a long time.
Quoted from jandrea95:Added a shaker last night, adds so damn much to this game in my opinion, wow.
My shaker should be here in few days...possibly even today.
Quoted from IraG:Seems some of you have received your new JPs from the recent Stern production run. Congratulations! When did you order your machines? I ordered my 1st pinball machine, a JP Premium, on Feb 1 (I put $1k down on it), and haven’t heard anything from my distributor. I was just wondering if enough machines were produced before things shut down that I might get mine soon. It may be quite a while before things get back to normal.
You are probably not going to want to hear this...but I ordered mine last weekend and it shipped on Monday and arrived on Wednesday, with a build date of March 20th.
Quoted from IraG:Thanks. Where did you order yours? I will call my distributor. Perhaps they got it in but are not making deliveries at this time.
Melissa at Cointaker.
Quoted from pinmister:Hey all, I have a question. Has anyone owned both the Pro and Premium/LE JP models? I am on the fence on which one I should pick up. Seems like the T-Rex is plagued with problems and people are having to become MacGyver to make them play smoothly. I am used to tweaking my pins to play good, but wondering if the Pro may be the way to go-less is more? I like the upgrade for the raptor gate, but not sure about T-Rex disrupting game-play/slowing down flow, and having to be tweaked to work correctly? Really want to hear from someone who has owned both versions. Thanks
Can the T-rex be a pain to tweak?...yes. But, it is pretty awesome seeing it move all over the place during play. Has to be one of the coolest toys ever.
Quoted from Dr-pin:Might be, as said, i´ve only had the game for a week.
Chaos MB is fun but the shots to get it, is a pita. Thoose time i get it, i focus the entire game on getting theme hopeless shots and even if i get it i end up with lesser scores, then i have when going for the rest.
Imo C, O and the S targets are all badly constructed.
Either you need to get your game dialed in (start at 7 degree pitch and 0 degree left to right). Or, you just need to practice more...or both.
Sometimes I'm a little off and clunking shots. Sometimes I'm right on and hitting everything. The game is tight...but all shots are makeable. There are pros who can destroy this game. It is a "players" machine for sure. But if you're a beginner it will make you a better player.
Play it for a while and then go play scared stiff....you'll be on that scared stiff for two hours (one game).
Quoted from roar:If the pro would allow you to skip the T-Rex multi-ball annimation then I'd say Pro all day long... but since it holds the ball for what I suspect is as long as it takes for the dinosaur to eat the ball and throw it back you aren't missing much flow by going premium. Maybe there is a setting I can disable to turn off the up-post at the start T-Tex multi-ball.
Much like the sarcophagus in IMDN on the premium, it was fun for the first little while of ownership but now I wish it would just put the ball back in play so I could keep playing. Quit holding on to my balls!
Have you tried hitting both flippers while it's holding the ball? On my premium any time a ball is being held by a post all I have to do is hit both flippers to have it released early.
Quoted from atrainn:This is really interesting. I'm also talking to a friend who owns a premium and he's recommending the pro... I was not expecting that.
That is interesting...I have the premium... and I've had to do A LOT of tweaking on my T-Rex...and I would still recommend the premium. It's a pretty sweet feature when it's working. Plus I think the raptor gate and helicopter blades are pretty cool.
Quoted from KnockerPTSD:That poll never included Iron Maiden and is therefore null and void lol.
Well, it did make it to round 3...and losing to Williams IJ is nothing to be ashamed of.
Quoted from SantaEatsCheese:Anyone have a link to some good printable instructions cards for Jurassic Park? I can find all sorts of data east examples online but other than a plain logo can find nothing to replace the pricing card. I had good luck with my TSPP and want to do the same for this beauty.

Quoted from ectobar:The only JP card in that thread is Nedry dying.
There is at least 23 Jurassic Park cards in that thread.
Quoted from modsbox:Does anyone have any info on when, if ever again, the $139 Stern Jurassic Park Shooter Knob kit will be available? Or if there is a list I can get on / preorder to get it.
I'm not really interested in any 3rd party variant, I think the design of the Stern one (with the lights shining on it and everything) is awesome and have wanted this kit since day 1.
That said, I have been putting it in my cart and trying to buy it probably every few days for the last few months and no dice. I'm pretty confident that if it ever does come back in stock I will miss it and be even more bummed.
Any info on how to get on a waiting list or when to look for it back in stock would be great, please PM me. Happy to prepay months in advance and wait if need be too.
Says "In-Stock" : https://www.classicgamerooms.com/pinball-parts/jurassic-park-shooter-knob-detail.html
Quoted from Oneangrymo:What’s the newer limited edition one? Is it by stern and still to be announced ?
It's this one (also by Tilt):
Quoted from Vino:Can someone with experience with Tilt topper chime in? I’ve sent polite status emails as well and nada. nothing.
Is this typical?
All I can say is that mine was very, very slow. I got an initial email saying things were very backed up due to Covid-19. I wait a couple more weeks and then emailed again. Then my topper showed up about two weeks after that.
