German distributors and players were horrified by the dumb artwork for 'Special Force' so the Bally-owned german company 'Bally Wulff' decided to produce a harmless new artwork with girls just for the backglass. Playfield remained unchanged. The new artwork was done by german artist Mychael Gerstenberger who also designed the re-themed Bally-Wulff-game Verspiel Dein Wasser nicht! in 1984.
