Python, the art designer for many famous Williams games, brings us the followup to his most famous creation... Here comes the Bride! The art doesn't do much for me, a little too purple on the cab and the playfield is of course dominated the the Machine herself, although I love the little astronauts that make up most of the details. The translite is nice tho, and the bonus lights are integrated in a very interesting kind of way. The sound on this game is just plain weird... spacy, atmospheric music, moans and of course, some PinBot cameos. It is pretty cool when you start the multiball sequence, with silence followed by a heartbeat and "She's alive!" and the song she sings is pretty wild. The playfield is DOMINATED by the head, but it's a pretty cool toy, and the PinBot mini-pf over the pops, a couple of the cooler ramps seen in a game and some quick loops and hidden unexpected lane shots keep things interesting... also one of the more unique skill shots in a game. The rules are kinda basic, being focused mostly on starting multiball and then lighting the BILLION point shot, but this isn't a game about deep, complex rules. It's not a super hard game, and is popular with newer players and ladies for some reason.
